The CSNSW One Day Induction is a mandatory foundation program for employees who do not complete the Certificate IV or Certificate III as part of their role and provides a comprehensive introduction to the corrections environment and equips staff with the essential knowledge and behaviours expected of CSNSW employees.

Code of conduct
Respectful workplace relationships
Maintaining professional boundaries
Staff wellbeing
This program is mandatory for all CSNSW employees who are not required to complete Certificate III or Certificate IV in Correctional Practice as part of their role.
The one-day Induction is delivered face to face for metro staff and virtual for regional staff.
Learners are required to complete
THRIVE learning modules, completed as part of the workshop as part of employee’s learning path.
