Continuous Improvement and Compliance Unit

The Continuous Improvement & Compliance Unit (CICU) provides an internal consultancy service to training units within the Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) Academy RTO 90075 and the Adult Education and Vocational Training Institute (AEVTI) RTO 7057.

CICU provides specialist advice on:

• 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs)
• Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF), Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) and the Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF)
• Development of CSNSW Academy Training and Assessment Strategies, Policy and Procedures.
• Systematic monitoring and evaluation of internal systems and practices against training package and vocational accredited course requirements
• Continuous improvement, quality assurance and RTO best practice approach aligned towards quality training and assessment responsibilities; and
• RTO scope management, accreditation, and communication with the vocational education and training industry regulatory body, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Our primary focus is to continue to assist and support the CSNSW Academy in maintaining its status as a world class correctional service and a leading provider of correctional training and assessment within Australia.
