State Parole Authority

The NSW State Parole Authority is an independent statutory authority that makes decisions about:

  • releasing inmates on parole
  • setting the conditions of release
  • if and how a parole order should be revoked
  • if and how an Intensive Correction Order, Periodic Detention Order or Home Detention Order is revoked, substituted or reinstated
