Group Work Facilitation Workshop

Course overview

If you are new to facilitating group activities or wish to improve and expand you current skills and knowledge of facilitation styles and methods, this program will assist you in discovering new ways to coordinate, lead and facilitate groups.

This workshop covers areas relating to:

  • Group Dynamics
  • Facilitation Styles and Methods
  • Understanding Conflict
  • Preparing a Group Activity
  • Running and Closing a Group Activity
  • Co-Facilitation

Course outcomes

On completion of this workshop, you will be eligible to enrol in the Group Work Facilitation assessment which is aligned to the Unit of Competency CHCGRP002 Plan and conduct group activities. 

Entry requirements

Open to all Corrective Services NSW staff who will be facilitating group activities.

Delivery mode

This workshop will require completion of the following;

  • Face to face / Virtual attendance (4 days)
