Working with Sex Offenders Workshop

Course overview

This workshop provides learners with the knowledge and skills to manage sex offenders and covers information relating to the assessments and treatment programs available.

Course outcomes

The workshop will enhance learners' ability to identify and manage risk, as well as develop skills to engage offenders who have committed a sexual offence, to promote effective working relationships.

Entry requirements

Open to all Corrective Services NSW staff who work with sex offenders.

Delivery mode

This workshop will require completion of the following;

  • Prerequisite online component 
  • Face to face / Virtual attendance (2 days)
