Careers at CSNSW

All CSNSW jobs are advertised on the Government website at Further information on CSNSW job roles is provided in the Job Profiles section.

Recruitment campaigns for the roles of Casual Correctional Officer, Trade Overseer and Community Corrections Officer will be conducted from time to time and will be advertised on the I work for NSW site. There are currently no recruitment campaigns.

If you have missed out on previous campaigns why not set up an applicant profile on I work for NSW.

To search for any CSNSW job:

  1. go to the I work for NSW site
  2. select "Click here" to start your job search
  3. from the Advanced Search Tab select "Organisation"
  4. from the drop down menu choose Corrective Services NSW
  5. complete any other relevant search criteria
  6. click on search.

On the I work for NSW site you will be able to search and apply for jobs online and maintain an applicant profile which can be updated as needed. You can also track the status of jobs you have applied for, as well as receive email notifications at key points in the process.

To create an applicant profile on I work for NSW:

  1. go to the I work for NSW site
  2. click on Job Search
  3. click on Sign In
  4. accept terms and conditions
  5. click "New User"
  6. complete new user registration to set up your account .

You can use your account to apply for jobs online, manage applications and create job alerts that email you suitable jobs as soon as they are advertised.

Before you apply you are advised to read the NSW Public Service Commission's guide to Applying for a role in the NSW Public Service.

If you would like to know more about an advertised role, you can contact the nominated inquiries officer who will be able to answer questions in relation to the area of work, specific requirements of the role, and provide you with other sources of information that may be available e.g. annual reports, policy statements.
