Careers at CSNSW

All CSNSW jobs are advertised on the Government website at iworkfor.nsw.gov.au. Visit the Job Profiles section for more information.

We will conduct recruitment campaigns for the roles of Casual Correctional Officer, Trade Overseer and Community Corrections Officer at times and advertise on the I work for NSW site. 

To search for any CSNSW job:

  1. go to the I work for NSW site
  2. select "Click here" to start your job search
  3. from the Advanced Search Tab select "Organisation"
  4. from the drop down menu choose Corrective Services NSW
  5. complete any other relevant search criteria
  6. click on search.

You can search and apply for jobss and maintain an applicant profile. You can also track the status of jobs you apply for, and receive email notifications during the process.

To create an applicant profile on I work for NSW:

  1. go to the I work for NSW site
  2. click on Job Search
  3. click on Sign In
  4. accept terms and conditions
  5. click "New User"
  6. complete new user registration to set up your account .

You can use your account to apply for jobs online, manage applications and create job alerts to find out about suitable roles as they are advertised.  

Before you apply

Before you apply you are advised to read the NSW Public Service Commission's guide to Applying for a role in the NSW Public Service.

If you'd like to know more about an advertised role, you can contact the nominated enquiries officer who will be able to answer questions in relation to the area of work, specific requirements of the role, and provide you with more information.
