Rover Coaches have a limited service that runs from the Rover Depot in Cessnock to the complex. Please check the Rover Coaches website for a timetable.
From Cessnock town centre, it is a half-hour walk or 5-minute taxi ride to the centre.
The entrance to the complex is located at the corner of Mavis and Lindsay Streets, Cessnock. You will need to enter this into any navigational devices, as most, including Navman, Google maps, and Garmin, will direct you to an incorrect access point on Kerlew Street.
All visits require bookings. Visit bookings can be made directly with the correctional centre

We acknowledge Aboriginal people as the First Nations Peoples of NSW and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future.
Informed by lessons of the past, Department of Communities and Justice is improving how we work with Aboriginal people and communities. We listen and learn from the knowledge, strength and resilience of Stolen Generations Survivors, Aboriginal Elders and Aboriginal communities.
You can access our apology to the Stolen Generations.
